European Conference on Research and Advanced Technology for Digital Libraries
ECDL2008, the 12th conference in the series of European Digital Library conferences, will be held in Aarhus (Denmark) from September 14 to September 19, 2008. ECDL has become the major European conference on digital libraries and associated technical, practical, and social issues, bringing together researchers, developers, content providers, and users in the field.
ECDL2008 is jointly organised by the State and University Library and Aarhus University.
ECDL2008 will provide an opportunity to present and discuss new research and development in areas supporting an ambition of the Ubiquitous Digital Library, a vision where information can be easily accessed in the user environment and where new objects can be produced by analyzing, processing and combining existing information.
